How dedicated are they to improvement?
For all the tools and services that exist to improve teams, this important question should always be answered first. If you have a team that chooses not to improve, it doesn’t matter how much money you throw at them; they will not improve.
There are two mindsets: Growth and fixed. A fixed mindset believes that our skill is static. A growth mindset believes that, through work and intentionality, we can improve.
Many of us struggled with a particular subject in school: English, math, science, etc. And, depending on when you went to school, you might have also just been taught that “this is just how you are”.
More recent research has shown that anyone can improve. Yes, you could have even improved your math abilities.
Many individuals, including experienced salespeople, can fall into the fixed mindset. But improvement can come at any level. You just have to calibrate your mind the right way first.
